Tax Payroll - Assistant Manager

We are looking for a skilled Senior Payroll Associate with 2 to 7 years of experience to manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple clients, including year-end. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume full-function payroll and excellent analytical skills. ### Roles and Responsibility Support payroll system set-up, including data migration and transition. Deliver payroll processing services, ensuring accurate and timely execution of operational aspects. Prepare complex payroll data for input and assist with record maintenance to ensure accuracy and service quality. Assist clients in meeting taxation, superannuation, and statutory obligations through processing and preparation of returns and reports. Provide responsive client advisory services on payroll matters, resolve difficult enquiries, and implement corrective action for accurate salary processing. Coach, mentor, train, and coordinate staff activities. ### Job Requirements Proven ability to work effectively as an individual or in a team, with excellent communication skills. Strong numeracy skills, attention to detail, and accuracy, along with the ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures. Ability to meet deadlines and identify/resolve problems, with experience in personnel and people management. Experience in payroll and large ERP systems, with intermediate/advanced Excel skills. A diploma/certificate in payroll is advantageous but not necessary; prior experience in tax accounting and finance is beneficial. Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
