Tax Group Manager Senior Vice President

In this role, you will be accountable for the management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas and will lead and direct a team of professionals. Your responsibilities will include: - Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities of Citi, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including compliance, financial reporting, planning, and controversy processes. - Contribute to the planning, accounting, filing, and reporting of the company's tax liability. - Assist in determining and compiling information required for income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction. - Direct and control the strategy and execution of the firm's activities within a major Infrastructure area. - Recommend goals, policies, and plans for these areas with the most senior executives of the firm. - Partner with revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or control. - Oversee all staff within the relevant Infrastructure area. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be expected to appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrate consideration for the firm's reputation, and safeguard Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You will also be responsible for supervising the activity of others and ensuring accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. To be successful in this role, you should ideally have the following skills and exposure: - Total experience of 15 to 17 years. - Relevant experience in Fatca/CRS of 8 to 10 years. - Extensive relevant experience in a similar role or function. - Experience dealing with Local Tax authorities in different jurisdictions/countries.
