Tax Consultant

Job Summary:

The Tax Consultant will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients. The role involves preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, advising on tax implications of business decisions, and ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
  
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
  
• Conduct thorough tax research on complex tax issues and new regulations.
  
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  
• Identify tax-saving opportunities for clients and recommend solutions.
  
• Assist clients with tax audits and coordinate with tax authorities as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  
• Proven experience (X years) in tax consulting, corporate taxation, or related areas.
  
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office applications.
