Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

Talend Developer

to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend and other orchestration tools. You will play a key role in building data integration solutions, ensuring data quality, and supporting business intelligence initiatives across cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using
Talend Data Integration
.
Integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses or lakehouses.
Implement
data goverce
,
quality frameworks
, and
lineage tracking
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Optimize performance of SQL queries and ETL jobs for efficiency and scalability.
Support on-call operations and troubleshoot critical pipeline issues.
Develop and maintain
star and snowflake schema
models for reporting and analytics.
Work with visualization tools like
Power BI
,
Tableau
, or
Looker
to support data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience in ETL development, with strong expertise in
Talend
.
Proficiency in
SQL
and
Python
(Pandas, NumPy).
Experience with
Pentaho
,
Apache Airflow
, and
dbt
is a plus.
Familiarity with
AWS
(Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena) and/or
GCP
(BigQuery, GCS).
Strong understanding of
data modeling
,
data warehousing
, and
data quality
practices.
Experience with
CI/CD
,
Git
, and
Docker
.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
Experience in handling large-scale data projects in domains like fice, insurance, or analytics.
Exposure to
BI tools
such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
