Tactical Buyer Sourcing & Procurement

Role Overview: As a Tactical Buyer in Sourcing & Procurement at ZEISS Group, you will be a crucial part of the Central Procurement team. Your main task will involve sourcing goods and services for specific categories like IT & Telecom, Marcom, Professional Services, HRM Services, etc. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities, including setting up RFXs, cost assessment, stakeholder communication, negotiations, contract management, PR processing, PO creation, vendor management, and report generation. Working closely with Demand side/Business Partner(s) and Procurement Manager, you will ensure alignment with category strategies and internal customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Execute sourcing and procurement activities within designated business units - Collaborate with internal customers, Legal team, and Category Managers - Handle RFI, RFP, and RFQ documentation - Assess supplier performance and industry benchmarking - Negotiate agreements and draft contracts - Manage vendor relationships, vendor master data, and vendor development - Drive change management strategies for best practices adoption Qualification Required: - Strong stakeholder management skills - Decision-making abilities - Problem-solving skills - Proficiency in communication - Experience with Microsoft business tools, e-Sourcing tools, and SAP applications - Knowledge of import/export processes, SEZ documentation, Goods & Services Taxation, and process automation Additional Details: N/A,
