Table Tennis Coach

Job Details

• Higher-level coaching certification (ITTF Level 2/3, NIS specialization in TT)

• Playing experience at state / national level

• Prior experience in university / high-performance sports programs

• Familiarity with sports science support (conditioning, psychology, injury management)

• Ability to use technology for performance analysis and athlete tracking

• Experience in organizing tournaments, workshops, and outreach events

• Plan and deliver structured training sessions for players across levels (beginner to advanced)

• Identify, nurture, and prepare student-athletes for inter-university, national and international competitions

• Monitor athlete progress, provide feedback, and maintain performance records

• Conduct fitness and tactical development sessions, integrating injury prevention practices

• Collaborate with sports science, physiotherapy, and academic teams for athlete well-being

• Promote table tennis within the campus through events, workshops, and recreational programs

• Manage facilities and equipment, coordinating with the sports department for upkeep

• Instill discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all student-athletes

• Technical expertise in table tennis strokes, footwork, and match strategies

• Session planning and athlete development across multiple skill levels

• Leadership, discipline, and team management abilities

• Strong observational and analytical skills for performance improvement

• Time management and organizational skills

• Experience in coaching and mentoring women athletes, with sensitivity to their specific physical, psychological, and social needs in a competitive sports environment.
