Job Description

Role Overview: As a Systems Platform Engineer II, your role will involve utilizing configuration management and infrastructure automation for repeatable deployments. You will be responsible for emulating on-premise customer infrastructure choices for automated integration and regression of releases. Your tasks will include establishing standard configuration profiles for each stage of the development pipeline to ensure a consistent and clean execution environment for software product development. Additionally, you will create custom build, test, and deploy automation to enforce highly-secure, segregated responsibilities that meet PCI DSS and SOC2 requirements. Your duties will also include providing automated sandboxing and workbench delivery for data scientists involved in rapid-paced machine learning development initiatives for global network artificial intelligence and individual customer solutions. Furthermore, you will manage build automation for polyglot development, requiring coordinated versioning of containers and distributable binaries, along with automation of regression and vulnerability testing. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize configuration management and infrastructure automation for repeatable deployments - Emulate on-premise customer infrastructure choices for automated integration and regression of releases - Establish standard configuration profiles for each stage of the development pipeline - Create custom build, test, and deploy automation to enforce highly-secure, segregated responsibilities - Provide automated sandboxing and workbench delivery for data scientists - Manage build automation for polyglot development, including regression and vulnerability testing Qualifications Required: - Design and implementation of build processes and CI/CD pipeline automation - Previous experience with containerization frameworks like Docker, Packer, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift - Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code using technologies such as Terraform, CDK, Cloudformation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and/or Salt - Previous experience migrating workloads or building pipelines in AWS preferred - Direct experience with developing and/or testing object-oriented languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Scala - Broad knowledge of networking, serverless architecture, virtualization, encryption, access controls, alerting, and monitoring - Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and independent drive for documentation - Bachelor's level degree or higher depending on previous work experience (Note: The additional details of the company were not explicitly mentioned in the job description.),
