Systems Engineer-Mac Admin

As a Sr. Systems Engineer - IT Service Management with a specialization in MAC Administration, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining desktops and servers in a MAC environment. With a minimum of 3.5 years of experience, your expertise will include deployment, troubleshooting, and providing remote support within the MAC ecosystem. Having an Apple certification or being a Mac technician will be advantageous but not mandatory. Additionally, familiarity with Linux and Windows systems will be considered a bonus. Your role will involve deploying and integrating Mac OS applications, as well as hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like JAMF Pro. In the realm of Windows, you will be proficient in Server Virtualization using Hyper V and VMware, installing server operating systems, configuring server roles such as DNS and DHCP, and managing Active Directory. Your responsibilities will also encompass TCP/IP configuration, troubleshooting, network printers, and general problem-solving within a Windows environment. A basic understanding of networking is essential, enabling you to configure and troubleshoot L2 devices like Cisco switches and firewalls. Proficiency in maintaining computer networks, implementing network security measures, conducting disaster recovery operations, and monitoring network performance will be part of your daily tasks. With effective organizational, time management, and communication skills, you will excel in this role. The ability to work independently as a self-starter while also collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial for success.
