Systems Engineer

As an IT - Systems Engineer at Cadence, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the core IT Infrastructure Systems, including Servers & Data Center Operations. Your role will involve hands-on experience in physical server deployment in the Datacenter. You will work on automating operations to manage Unix infrastructure globally and on automation projects & global rollouts. Key Responsibilities: - Specialized in System Administration working on Redhat Linux, SUSE Linux, AIX, Cent OS. - Installation, configuration and administration of RHEL 4.x/5.x/6.x/7.1, SLES 10/11/12. - System Builds, Server builds, Installs, Upgrades, Patches, Migration & Troubleshooting. - Working knowledge & experience in Python. - Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible & Puppet. - Good networking concepts and HW support experience. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure. - Collaboration capability, Teamwork spirit, Personable, professional demeanor. - Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Qualifications Required: - Engineering graduate (Computer/Electronics) or equivalent. - At least 3-6 years of relevant experience. - At least 3 years of experience specialized in System Administration. - Good working knowledge & experience in Python. - Very good experience in working with configuration management tools i.e., Ansible & Puppet.
