Backup Strategy Develop and maintain a robust backup strategy, including regular data backups and system configurations
Backup Implementation Set up and configure backup solutions to ensure data is backed up effectively and efficiently
Data Recovery Be prepared to initiate data recovery operations promptly to restore lost data or recover from system failures
Testing and Monitoring Regularly test and monitor backup and restore processes to verify data recoverability and system reliability
Data Retention Manage data retention policies, including archiving and disposing of unneeded data
Capacity Planning Assess and plan for data storage needs, ensuring backup systems can scale to accommodate future requirements
Security Measures Implement data security measures to protect backup data from unauthorized access
Documentation Maintain detailed records of backup and restore processes, policies, and procedures
Data Recovery Operations Quickly initiate data recovery operations to restore lost data and recover from system failures
Backup Testing Regularly test and verify the effectiveness of backup and restore processes
Data Retention Participate in managing data retention policies, including archiving and data disposal
