Job Description

As the Systems and Technology Administrator at Zendesk, you will play a crucial role in overseeing technology related to access control, CCTV, and select intelligence technologies. Reporting to the Systems and Technology Lead, you will provide support to regional GSS managers, the Global Security Operations Center, and other internal stakeholders by managing the physical security systems essential for their duties. Your responsibilities will include: - Regularly troubleshooting access control system issues - Troubleshooting basic networking problems - Maintaining records and documenting maintenance activity - Assisting in determining layout for security equipment during new construction projects - Collaborating with stakeholders in Workplace Experience and IT to solve problems related to access control or CCTV systems - Potential to travel up to 10% of the year Key Responsibilities: - Experience with access control systems programming - Basic understanding of doors, door hardware, and typical electric and electro-mechanical locking systems - Experience with the setup of IP camera systems and network video recorders - Must be highly adaptable and flexible to support work in multiple time zones Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience with physical security access control systems installation and administration - Basic understanding of networking and desktop support - Excellent English language written and oral communication skills required - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, capable of resolving issues swiftly in a remote environment - Comfortable using Google Workspace Zendesk software focuses on improving customer service experiences and aims to provide a fulfilling and inclusive environment for its employees.
