System Security Manager

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Systems Security Manager to lead our organization&aposs information security efforts. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in system security, managing security policies, infrastructure, and incident responses. You will be responsible for protecting our IT environment against cyber threats and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive system security strategies and policies.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, breaches, and vulnerabilities promptly.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
• Lead the design and deployment of security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and encryption technologies.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into system development and operations.
• Maintain awareness of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, recommending improvements proactively.
• Manage and mentor a security team, ensuring adherence to security protocols and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Prepare security reports and communicate findings to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in system security roles.
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and incident response.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and vulnerability management tools.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
