System Requirement Engineer- Functional Safety- AUTOMOTIVE

As a System Requirement Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience, you will be responsible for performing SFMEA activities, facilitating cross-functional risk assessment meetings, and workshops. You will collaborate closely with architects and other stakeholders to ensure system-level design objectives are met, particularly with regards to DFMEA. Your role will involve defining and monitoring Severity, Occurrence, and Detection ratings to ensure accuracy and consistency across designs. Additionally, you will define FSR and TSR from FSC and TSC, collaborating with Customers/stakeholders for requirement analysis, elicitation, definition, documentation, and validation on engineering projects. This includes ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability in line with the Requirements Management Plan. You will be expected to review requirements with Subject Matter Experts and Test Engineers, as well as create and maintain product specification documents for internal and customer approval. Furthermore, you will assist the project in generating various metrics related to requirements engineering. To excel in this role, you should possess good knowledge of automotive systems, SFMEA, and functional safety requirements. Experience in system requirements engineering, along with training and certification in applying methods for Requirement Management (Advanced, IREB certified) are essential. Knowledge of ASPICE SYS.1 & SYS.2 processes and a review and understanding of System Architecture will be beneficial. Proficiency in using the iQRM tool is required, and hands-on experience with Windchill RV&S & EA will be advantageous.
