System Engineer - Oil & Gas SectorRoles & Responsibilities:An Oil & Gas Sector - System Engineering Specialist Will Be Accountable For The Auxiliary System Engineering For Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, And Centrifugal Compressors. They Will Have The Chance To Introduce Innovative Technology To Boost Company Profitability And Efficiency. They Will Be In Charge Of Integrating New Cost-efficient Solutions For Designs. They Must Be Skilled And Accountable For The Design Of Some Or All Of The FollowingTurbomachinery Functional schematic diagrams (P&I)Selection of main items (control /on-off valve, heaters) based on customer requirements and standardsStrong expertise in systems calculation (sizing of orifices, PCVs, PSVs, On/off, filters, heaters), ability to create predictive model designs (Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysys) to detect transients and establish high-level control logic.Consistency in drafting with respect to inputs, completeness of input with respect to customer requirements and standards, and timely documentation deliveryConduct Technical Reviews. Review process- 30%-60%-90%. Support, guide & mentor the team to enhance the technical skills of the teamPromote Knowledge Management, Continuous improvement & Productivity enhancement initiatives.Moreover, the System Engineer will be responsible for the following profiles:Gas Turbine System EngineerSummary of lube oil system design, LO system data sheet (API614), LV motor data sheetFirefighting system specifications, painting specifications, system project design summaryL.O. system test procedure, electric load list, utility consumption list, lubricant listAnti-icing valve, fuel gas metering valve, fuel gas primary stop valve, fuel gas stop valves (ATEX), fuel gas warm-up valveSteam Turbine & Centrifugal Compressor System EngineerLoad, utility & connection list, system design review,Gas separator instrumentation; degassing tank instrumentation; cooler instrumentation; gas plant instrumentationLube oil console instrumentation; lube oil console safety valve; primary pneumatic connection and bracketingsGas water cooler safety valve; gas plant regulation valves; gas plant safety valves; safety valves.Run down tank instrumentation; seal gas booster; seal gas regulating valves; sealing gas separator coalescent filterWork Experience
Competency/ Technical Skills: Minimum of 4 to 10 years of experience in Gas Turbine/ Steam Turbine/ Centrifugal Compressor - System Engineering within the oil and gas/petrochemical/power industry.Must be capable of assisting in the development of Equipment Specifications/Datasheets and Purchase Specifications.Extensive understanding of package integration focusing on Mechanical and Instrument disciplines: Piping classification, material selection, instrument selection, and installation.Proficient in industry codes and standards.Proficiency in tools such as Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster, Hysys, Siemens NX10, AutoCAD & Team Center.Ability to create and manage Project Schedules, monitoring, and control, ensuring On-Time Delivery and Quality of Engineering documents, with timely execution.Desired Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering.Experience in an engineering role for Auxiliary System Engineering - for Turbomachinery's Gas Turbine/ Steam Turbine/ Centrifugal Compressor within the oil and gas/power sector.
