System Analyst (ETL Developer)

You should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience and strong knowledge of ETL tools like Pentaho, Talend, SSIS, Informatica, or Data Stage, working with databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL. As a candidate, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and supporting various data projects in both traditional and non-traditional databases, analyzing business requirements, and implementing necessary data models and ETL processes. You will also be involved in data architecture and engineering decision-making, creating an enterprise-level data inventory, connecting and integrating datasets for better analysis, and translating technical subjects into understandable terms for diverse audiences. To be successful in this role, you must have experience in traditional database development with Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL, as well as with other databases like Vertica, MongoDB, or HDFS/HIVE. Hands-on experience with the Pentaho ETL tool is essential, along with familiarity with Talend, SSIS, Informatica, or Data Stage. Working closely with Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, and Sales teams, knowledge of scripting languages like Perl or Python, and experience with reporting platforms such as Tableau or Cognos will be advantageous. Additional desirable skills include knowledge of Web analytics, Business Intelligence, GCP, excellent communication and documentation abilities, self-motivation, and a willingness to learn new technologies and take initiative beyond basic responsibilities.,
