System Administrator

Description

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and efficient operation of our systems and services, providing support to users and proactively addressing system issues.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions.
• Ensure system security through regular updates and patches.
• Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2-8 years of experience in system administration or related roles.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of security best practices and firewall configuration.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
