System Administrator

1. Installation and Configuration:

Setting up new hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and network devices. Configuring systems to meet specific organizational needs and performance requirements. Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

2. Monitoring and Maintenance:

Regularly monitoring system performance to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, security patches, and system backups. Ensuring the availability and reliability of systems and network resources.

3. Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems. Providing technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues and answering technical queries. Developing and maintaining documentation for troubleshooting procedures and system configurations.

4. Security Management:

Implementing and managing security protocols to protect IT systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.Conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments. Ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

5. Network Management:

Managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Ensuring the proper functioning of Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs). Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and optimizing network performance.

6. Other Responsibilities:

Managing storage and backup systems. Disaster recovery planning and implementation. Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
