Job Description

Job Role: System Admin- IT Experience: 1-3yrs Location: Kolkata System Administrator, is responsible for maintaining and supporting an organization's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems . They ensure systems are secure, efficient, and operational, troubleshooting issues and providing support to users. Key Responsibilities: System Maintenance and Support: Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and functioning correctly. Network Management: Manage network devices, troubleshoot network problems, and ensure network security. User Account Management: Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve IT-related issues reported by users or detected through monitoring. Monitoring and Performance: Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements. Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation, including procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides. Training: Provide training to users on new hardware, software, and IT policies. Required Skills: Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of hardware, software, and networking concepts. Proficiency of Windows and Linux Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Communication: Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Should have experience in troubleshooting. Should have exposure with wired (Internet and Ethernet) and wireless connectivity.
