System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator to manage and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, computers, CCTV, ERP systems, and user support. The ideal candidate must be proactive, technically strong, and capable of ensuring smooth IT operations across the campus.

Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork & Infrastructure Management

• Manage and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure stable, secure network performance.
• Monitor internet usage, bandwidth, and security protocols.

System & Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux systems, user accounts, and permissions.
• Manage school servers, backups, antivirus, and security updates.
• Maintain Email services (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace) including ID creation and access management.
• Ensure data security, disaster recovery, and regular backup procedures.

Hardware & Software Support

• Install, update, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, biometric devices, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain school ERP systems, attendance devices, and educational software.
• Ensure classroom smart boards, audio systems, and digital labs function properly.

CCTV & Surveillance Management

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and storage.
• Ensure proper recording, backup, and retrieval of CCTV footage as required.

User Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide timely IT support to teachers, staff, and students.
• Maintain logs for issues, complaints, and resolutions.
• Conduct basic IT training/orientation for staff when needed.

System Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain inventory of IT equipment, licenses, and warranties.
• Document network diagrams, system configurations, and IT policies.
• Support CBSE audits, safety compliance, and digital documentation requirements.

Cybersecurity & Safety

• Implement and monitor antivirus, firewall, and content filtering systems.
• Ensure data privacy, safe browsing, and cyber safety protocols across the campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering OR relevant certifications.
• 2–5 years of experience as a System Administrator / IT Support Engineer (school experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, Networking, CCTV, ERP, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage emergencies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud servers, cPanel/WHM, web hosting basics.
• Experience with firewall systems (Sophos, FortiGate, etc.).
• Familiarity with backup systems like OneDrive, Google Drive, or local NAS.
• Good communication, documentation, and team coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
