Job Description

  • Perform regular

    server backups

    , restoration testing, and backup validation.
  • Conduct

    asset maintenance

    , including hardware lifecycle management, patching, and upgrades.
  • Monitor server performance, availability, and resource utilization.
  • Troubleshoot

    system issues

    across Windows environments.
  • Manage

    Active Directory

    including user creation, deletion, modifications, OU management, and group policy updates.
  • Handle user lifecycle activities in

    Domain Controller

    and various enterprise applications.
  • Maintain access control, security and permissions.
  • Application slowness diagnostics and resolution

  • Assist with installation and configuration of tools and other required utilities.
  • Conduct daily checks of critical systems.
  • Maintain best practices for data security, access controls, and system hardening.
  • Document procedures, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and system changes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal audit requirements, healthcare regulations, and IT security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of

    Windows Server

    ,

    Active Directory

    ,

    Group Policy

    , and domain services.
  • Experience supporting

    enterprise applications

    , especially in healthcare.
  • Proficiency with

    backup tools

    , system monitoring, and log analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with networking fundamentals, VPN tools.
  • Ability to diagnose complex performance issues across servers and applications.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python preferred).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in healthcare IT environments.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and other compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with system monitoring platforms and ticketing systems.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Payments, Support, etc.).
  • High attention to detail with a focus on system reliability and user experience.
