As a Systems Engineer/System Administrator at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our AWS infrastructure, Linux servers, and database clusters to ensure optimal performance and security of our IT systems. Your responsibilities will include: - **AWS Management:** - Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS services. - Monitor and optimize AWS performance and costs. - **Linux Server Administration:** - Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers. - Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks. - Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues. - **Database Cluster Management:** - Manage and maintain PostgreSQL clusters. - Ensure high availability, performance, and security of database clusters. - **Certification and Compliance:** - Maintain compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Leverage Red Hat Certification to implement and manage robust Linux environments. - **System Monitoring and Performance Tuning:** - Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation. - Perform capacity planning and performance tuning. - **Security Management:** - Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and data. - Respond to and mitigate security incidents. - **Documentation and Reporting:** - Maintain comprehensive system documentation. - Provide regular reports on system performance and health. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or system administration. - Strong experience with AWS services and architecture. - Proficient in managing and maintaining Linux servers. - Experience in managing PostgreSQL clusters. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Strong understanding of IT security practices and principles. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Calicut, Kerala.
