SW Test Team Lead-Mainframe

As a Software Test Team Lead at Amdocs, you will carry out management responsibilities for a group of testing engineers. Your role will involve planning, designing, and executing tests while providing professional and technical leadership to the team. Here's what your job will look like: - Lead and mentor small teams of functional, automation, and nonfunctional testing within a specific project or product. - Ensure all project deliverables are completed to the required level of quality and promote team engagement and motivation. - Provide technical and professional leadership to testing team members. - Contribute to test estimations, plan resource needs, and ensure effective task allocation. - Plan testing activities milestones, identify and analyze risks, prioritize testing activities accordingly. - Ensure integrative coverage of test scenarios. - Lead formal and informal reviews with stakeholders, providing technical and managerial perspectives. - Act as a technical interface with other teams to resolve issues, communicate plans, conclusions, and recommendations for issue closure. - Support and promote test efficiency and optimization initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Telecom Billing Experience preferable. - Effective and clear communication skills. - Mainframe Batch Knowledge with hands-on experience on JCL, COBOL, VSAM, and CICS. - Hands-on experience on DB2/IMS/IDMS. - Hands-on experience in Batch Scheduler (ESP/CA7). - Hands-on experience in resolving abends/errors. - Hands-on experience in Connect Direct (C:D) and MQ series. - Test Data Preparation in mainframe (feed data to batch cycle). - Automation tool (QTP, REX) using the Mainframe platform. - Proficiency in at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure. - Experience of System Testing Life Cycle (STLC). - Experience in test/defect management tools. - Experience in writing Quality Test Design independently. - Experience in Test Execution independently. - Stakeholders collaboration.
