This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, entrepreneurial individual to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of climate technology, finance, and environmental impact. Key Responsibilities: - Project Documentation & Development: Support the end-to-end lifecycle of Project Design Documents (PDD) for carbon credit projects, ensuring compliance with relevant methodologies and standards. - Carbon Market Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on the technical and commercial value chains of carbon credits, with a focus on different registries such as Verra, Gold Standard, and others. - Life Cycle Assessment (LCA): Assist in performing LCA studies for various products and services to quantify environmental impacts and identify decarbonization opportunities. - Technology Assessment: Support the evaluation of emerging climate technologies, particularly related to biochar and its commercial and technical viability. - Research & Reporting: Prepare clear and impactful reports, presentations, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders on market trends, project progress, and research findings. - Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, effectively communicating complex technical information. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Technology, or a closely related quantitative or qualitative field. Technical Expertise: - Demonstrated knowledge of the end-to-end lifecycle of LCA, PDD, and carbon credit projects. - Deep understanding of carbon credit value chains and related carbon registries (e.g., Verra, Gold Standard, Climate Action Reserve). - Familiarity with the technical and commercial aspects of biochar and related climate-tech products is a significant advantage.
