SURVEYOR - ELECTRICAL (Solar)

As a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer for Solar Power Plants, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the inspection and assessment of various HT/LT Electrical Equipment used in solar installations. This includes motors, generators, transformers, switchboards, switchgears, cables, insulators, control panels, battery chargers, and other related components both at vendor premises and on-site locations. You will be required to conduct quality audits, witness testing procedures, review vendor drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with standards. In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting site inspections of electrical installations at solar power plants, including solid core insulators, circuit breakers, cables (HT and LT), panels (HT and LT), FLP equipment, motors, protection relays, pressure and temperature gauges, indicators, switches, transmitters, and other relevant equipment for various projects. Your duties will also involve inspecting solar installations, cable layouts, earthing systems, and ensuring adherence to approved drawings and specifications. Additionally, you will be involved in vendor evaluation, conducting customer satisfaction surveys, coordinating with vendors and clients, as well as developing new clients and participating in tender bidding processes. It is essential to strictly adhere to all electrical safety norms applicable to solar power plants and prepare Conformity Reports and Non-conformity Reports for different electrical equipment and materials. As part of your role, you will need to analyze the quality of electrical equipment and materials based on Indian and International Standards and take necessary measures for quality control. You will be required to carry out various tests on electrical equipment and materials to ensure compatibility with consumer requirements. Your expertise in ensuring the quality and safety of electrical installations in solar power plants will be critical to the success of various projects.,
