As a member of the Quality department at our company located in Halol, Gujarat, India, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to Electrical Testing as per National & International Standards. Your primary responsibility will involve conducting all kinds of Electrical Tests as required during customer inspections, ensuring compliance with the specified standards. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing Routine and Acceptance Tests on cables and maintaining the testing equipment in optimal condition. Moreover, you will be expected to conduct Electrical Type Tests and handle responsibilities such as Machine Repair & Maintenance when necessary, along with conducting Preventive maintenance on Test Equipment. Furthermore, you will be involved in conducting audits related to 5S, Safety, and NABL both externally and internally. Additionally, you will be required to address and resolve any customer complaints that may arise. As the Site Quality Assurance and Quality Control Electrical Engineer for Solar Power Plants, your primary responsibilities will include conducting inspections, quality control, and assessments of various HT/LT Electrical Equipment such as Motors, Generators, Transformers, Switchboards, Switchgears, cables, insulators, Control Panels, Battery Chargers, and Switchyard items. These assessments will be carried out at both vendor premises and project sites. You will be responsible for overseeing quality audits, testing witness, and verification of testing procedures for various equipment. Additionally, you will review vendor drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards. Your role will involve site inspections of Electrical Installations at Solar Power Plants, including the inspection of Solid core insulators, Circuit Breakers, Cables (HT and LT), Panels (HT and LT), FLP equipment, motors, Protection relays, pressure and temperature gauges, indicators, switches, transmitters, and Solar Installations according to approved drawings. You will also be responsible for inspecting Cable Layouts as per approved routing, Earthing Systems as per approved drawings and specifications, and ensuring adherence to all electrical safety norms of Solar Power Plants. Furthermore, you will be actively involved in vendor evaluation, conducting Customer satisfaction surveys, and coordinating with vendors and clients. Your duties will also include developing new clients, participating in Tender bidding processes, and preparing Conformity and Non-conformity Reports for different Electrical equipment and materials. As part of your responsibilities, you will analyze the quality of Electrical equipment and materials according to Indian and International Standards. You will be required to carry out testing on electrical equipment and materials to ensure compatibility with consumer requirements and take appropriate measures for quality control in accordance with the standards.,
