Job Description

Surgical Neurophysiologist

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM)
during surgeries such as spine, brain, vascular, orthopedic, and ENT procedures.
Record and interpret
EEG, EMG, SSEP, TcMEP, BAEP
, and other neurophysiological data.
Collaborate closely with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and OT team to provide
real-time data
and alert to potential nerve damage.
Set up and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment before surgery and ensure continuous functionality during procedures.
Maintain proper documentation of monitoring data and assist in post-operative reporting and analysis.
Ensure all monitoring procedures comply with
JCI / NABH / patient safety
standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master’s degree in Neurophysiology, Biomedical Science, or allied health sciences.
CNIM certification (preferred)
or eligibility to obtain.
Strong understanding of
neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and electrophysiology.
Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Willingness to work in
rotational shifts
and assist in emergency procedures.
