Role Summary: We are hiring a Site Supervisor with 2–3 years of experience in steel structure and process equipment fabrication & erection. This is a site-based role, responsible for managing day-to-day activities, manpower coordination, and project progress at various sites across NCR, Haryana, UP, and Punjab. Role Description The Project Planning Engineer will be responsible for daily project planning, material requirement assessment, and production coordination . This role involves preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs), generating cutting plans, optimizing CNC nesting programs , and coordinating with fabrication teams and site engineers to ensure smooth execution of projects. The engineer will also be responsible for progress monitoring, scheduling, and communicating with site teams to track and resolve any production or erection-related issues . Key Responsibilities Generate and update daily BOMs, material requirement lists, and cutting plans for fabrication. Develop CNC nesting programs to optimize material utilization and reduce waste. Create and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and progress reports . Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure seamless execution of cutting and welding processes. Communicate with site engineers and supervisors (telephonically and through site visits) to track project progress and resolve execution challenges. Monitor and update production workflows to ensure alignment with project deadlines. Assist in resource allocation, manpower planning, and work sequencing for smooth execution. Work closely with design and engineering teams to clarify technical queries and ensure compliance with project specifications. Provide status reports to management, highlighting bottlenecks and proposing solutions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. Proficiency in MS Excel and project planning tools (such as MS Project or Primavera). Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and CNC nesting software for cutting plan optimization. Strong understanding of fabrication processes, structural steel components, and manufacturing workflows . Excellent coordination and communication skills to liaise with production teams and site engineers. Analytical and problem-solving skills to track project progress and resolve execution challenges. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate planning. Willingness to visit project sites when necessary for on-ground coordination and progress monitoring.
