The Shift Supervisor at Welspun World is responsible for planning and executing daily maintenance activities to ensure 100% machine availability. This role involves performing scheduled and preventive maintenance on electrical instruments, mechanical parts, and machinery, as well as preparing technical reports and maintaining all relevant documentation. The Shift Supervisor is also tasked with analyzing daily machine checklists, planning predictive maintenance activities, and identifying opportunities to improve machine availability by minimizing repetitive issues and implementing fool-proof systems. Conducting root cause analysis to address repeated failures and ensuring the availability of critical spares are also key responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor. Additionally, this role involves overseeing the quality assurance of tasks performed by associates, analyzing checklists, planning predictive maintenance, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols, and maintaining the availability of tools and instruments necessary for task execution. Key responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor include maintenance, spare management, energy monitoring, planning energy-saving projects, ensuring the highest level of safety and security standards at plant locations, controlling non-conforming products, monitoring machine quality CTQ, and reporting abnormalities. The Shift Supervisor is expected to collaborate cross-functionally, conduct risk assessments, manage changes, ensure quality assurance, and facilitate internal communication. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 4 years of experience and possess competencies in maintenance, spare management, energy monitoring, energy-saving projects, safety and security standards, quality assurance, risk assessment, change management, and internal communication.
