Job Description

As an Associate Consultant/Consultant - Support Engineer, your primary focus will be on supporting desktop systems for configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting. You will primarily work with Windows Desktop Systems, with some involvement in Windows Server and Active Directory support. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical end-user and desktop support within a local area network environment. - Diagnose problems related to PC hardware, software, multi-function devices, and all related local area network systems. - Support the networking team in maintaining the availability of centralized, decentralized, and remote network services. - Demonstrate intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory service. - Assist end-users in accessing network resources and manage user accounts for file/print and remote services. - Install software updates and patches to desktop operating systems, server-based applications, and centralized services. - Create and maintain up-to-date IT assets inventory reports. - Perform basic network configurations, switch Firewall, Endpoint Management. - Possess knowledge of Network Equipments/Devices. - Troubleshoot MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). - Provide desktop support encompassing hardware, software, and networking concepts. - Take ownership of user problems and proactively address user issues. - Log all calls on the call logging system. - Respond to staff inquiries and assist in resolving hardware or software problems. - Maintain a log of software or hardware issues detected. - Support users in utilizing computer equipment by offering necessary training and advice. - Administer hardware maintenance for all desktop IT equipment. - Assist in maintaining the operating system and security software used on the network. - Allocate more complex support issues to the IT Manager. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in desktop support roles. - Proficiency in Windows Desktop Systems and Microsoft Active Directory. - Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking. - Knowledge of network configurations and network devices. - Familiarity with MS Office applications. - Ability to take ownership of user issues and provide proactive solutions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Please note that travel may be required up to 10% of the time for this role.
