Supplier Development Engineer - Chennai (Tier 1 Hyundai Supplier)

Job Description

SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER • New Programme / Part (Lead Project and Lead supplier function and responsibility) • Good knowledge about the development for Plastic injection moulding, Metal, rubber and spring. Etc. • Good experience in new project launch with different customers. • Supplier audit need to done for the new suppliers • Attend technical Design Review in order to provide information about supplier, product or process and related potential for improvement. • Carry out supplier risk analysis and request actively the team to participate in assessment. • Participate in establishment of Component sourcing plans for new projects. • Implement and follow up the APQP Tracking List for assigned suppliers and projects. • Track the programme launch and involved sub-components up to SOP including any prototype and containment requirements ( Lead Project function and responsibility ) • Carry out APQP reviews and update the risk analysis in order to determine the work needed. • Approve the PPAP documentation and PSW • As Local SDE representative perform handover of PPAP file to dedicate Plant Quality. • Coordinate the self monitored R@R at the supplier or eyewitness and apply onsite at the suppliers. • To ensure EPC (Early Production Containment) is effective at suppliers, ensuring that components reach TI to agreed specification and volume. • Support and control SC / CC from DFMEA with supplier / support SC / CC agreement. • Control PFMEA at supplier and control pass through characteristics • APQP SR & CCAR report updating for getting the new components parts in on time. • New supplier recommendation for commodity wise using for our new project. • Corrective action followup with supplier during development for localization part • 4m Change management with supplier how to control and implementation successfully in the plant Interested please call Mithra(HR) 9176616016
