SUPERVISOR AND METER READER

As a Meter Reader, your main role entails accurately recording utility usage data by reading various meters such as electric, gas, and water. You are responsible for ensuring timely and precise data collection for billing and service management. In addition to recording usage, you will also inspect meters and connections for defects and damage. Your key responsibilities will include: - Accurately recording readings from different types of meters - Inputting readings into handheld devices or computers for data entry - Identifying and reporting any irregularities or issues with meters or connections - Responding to customer inquiries regarding readings and usage - Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols - Having a basic understanding of meter types, connections, and common problems As a Meter Readers Supervisor, your responsibilities will involve overseeing and managing meter reading operations to ensure timely and accurate completion. You will be responsible for training and evaluating meter readers, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to meter readings and customer concerns, reporting on system performance and trends, and providing guidance and support to meter readers to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
