Subject Matter Expert (Curriculum Developer) – Math & English

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Curriculum Developers (SMEs) for Math and English to design engaging, high-quality content for Grades 6–8. The ideal candidates will have expertise in IB, IGCSE, Cambridge, and CBSE curricula, with a focus on inquiry-based, application-oriented learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum content, lesson plans, assessments, and activities for Grades 6–8.
• Align lessons with international standards (IB, IGCSE, Cambridge, CBSE) and Common Core for Math.
• Foster conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with editorial, design, production, and digital teams for print and online content.
• Review and refine content to ensure accuracy, quality, and learner engagement.

Subject-Specific Expertise

Math SME:

• Strong knowledge of IB and Common Core Math standards.
• Experience with inquiry-based, project-based learning, and real-life applications.
• Ability to create higher-order thinking tasks and problem-solving exercises.

English SME:

• Strong command of IB Language & Literature and IGCSE English curricula.
• Expertise in reading, writing, speaking, and listening instructional strategies.
• Ability to integrate multicultural texts and global perspectives.

Common Skills & Requirements

• 3–7 years of curriculum development or teaching experience in international schools.
• Familiarity with digital learning tools and blended pedagogy.
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and deadline management abilities.
