Study Visa Counselor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a confident and result-driven Study Visa Counsellor to manage telephonic counselling and end-to-end processing of study visa applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in guiding students and parents on overseas education options, handling application processes, and ensuring smooth communication with clients over calls and emails. This role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and updated knowledge of student visa policies for countries like Canada, UK, USA, Australia, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to counsel prospective students and parents about international education options.
• Understand client requirements and provide accurate information about universities, courses, admission criteria, and visa documentation.
• Convert telephonic and online inquiries into walk-ins or virtual appointments.
• Assist students in the complete admission and visa application process.
• Coordinate with universities/colleges and keep clients updated on the status of their applications.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance as per the latest immigration and education guidelines.
• Follow-up with leads and maintain a CRM or database of all student records and interactions.
• Participate in webinars, training sessions, and promotional activities when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferred: Education, Management, or related field).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in study visa counselling or tele-sales in the overseas education domain.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages.
• Strong knowledge of admission and visa procedures for major study destinations.
• Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask between counselling and processing responsibilities.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and basic MS Office applications.
