Position Summary:

The Study Abroad Advisor supports students through all stages of the study abroad process. This role involves advising, administrative coordination, and promoting global learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise students on study abroad programs, applications, academic planning, and travel logistics.
• Assist with course approvals, credit transfers, and visa guidance.
• Coordinate pre-departure and re-entry sessions.
• Maintain communication with students, faculty, and international partners.
• Manage program data and application systems.
• Promote programs through events, outreach, and digital platforms.
• Support faculty-led and exchange programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• 1+ year of experience in study abroad or international education
• Strong advising, organizational, and cross-cultural communication skills

Preferred:

• Master’s degree
• Experience studying or working abroad
• Knowledge of study abroad platforms
