Job Summary

The Student Recruitment Executive - Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students in selecting academic programs that align with their career goals, interests, and abilities. This role involves personalized counseling, assisting students in understanding academic pathways, and maintaining accurate records to support their academic success and the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Counseling:
• Provide one-on-one or group counseling sessions to students, helping them choose appropriate courses, majors, and educational pathways based on their interests, abilities, and career aspirations.
• Assist students in understanding academic curricula, degree requirements, and course prerequisites, ensuring compliance with academic standards and institutional policies.
• Admissions Support:
• Guide students through the application process, including documentation, deadlines, and eligibility criteria.
• Clarify any questions or concerns about admission procedures and financial aid options.
• Data Management:
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records of all student interactions, including counseling sessions, academic plans, and follow-up actions.
• Update and manage a database of prospective and enrolled students to track their progress and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Outreach and Recruitment:
• Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote academic programs.
• Develop relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational institutions to enhance student recruitment opportunities.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with academic advisors, faculty, and the admissions team to ensure a smooth enrollment process for students.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure accurate and effective communication of academic offerings and institutional values.
• Reporting and Feedback:
• Prepare periodic reports on counseling activities, student feedback, and recruitment outcomes.
