About the Role

Xylem Learning is seeking motivated and target-driven Academic Counsellors to join our growing counselling and sales team in Ernakulam. As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students and parents to make informed educational decisions while driving enrolments and supporting the overall growth of Xylem Learning.

This opportunity is best suited for individuals with prior experience in academic counselling, consultative sales, or the education sector, who are passionate about helping learners achieve their academic goals while meeting ambitious performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective students and parents through structured outbound and inbound calls using our in-house lead database.
• Understand academic goals, challenges, and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs.
• Present Xylem Learning’s offerings clearly, persuasively, and with confidence.
• Provide personalised academic counselling to build trust, credibility, and long-term relationships.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly enrolment targets.
• Accurately maintain records of interactions, follow-ups, and enrolments using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with academic, marketing, and operations teams to stay updated on programs, promotions, and industry trends.
• Share feedback and insights to improve lead-generation strategies and the overall student experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience in academic counselling, student advisory, or sales (preferably in the education industry).
• Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed enrolment/sales targets.

Key Skills

• Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with students and parents.
• Strong self-motivation and target-oriented approach.
• Adaptability and problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Malayalam preferred; English proficiency desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
