Responsibilities of a Student Counselor

• Student Guidance and Support:
• Provide academic and career counseling to students, helping them choose the right course, university, or career path based on their skills, interests, and aspirations.
• Address student queries regarding course details, admission procedures, eligibility, and future opportunities.
• Admissions Assistance:
• Guide students through the entire admission process, including application submission, documentation, and follow-ups with universities or institutions.
• Coordinate with admission teams and maintain updated knowledge of admission policies and deadlines.
• Communication and Relationship Building:
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and their families by offering continuous support and timely updates.
• Maintain regular communication to ensure student satisfaction and comfort throughout the admission journey.
• Documentation and Record Maintenance:
• Ensure accurate documentation of student details, counseling sessions, and application status.
• Maintain databases and prepare periodic reports on counseling activities and student enrollments.
• Problem Resolution:
• Assist students in resolving any academic or administrative concerns by liaising with the internal departments and external institutions.
• Offer emotional and motivational support where needed to encourage student confidence and well-being.
• Marketing and Outreach Support:
• Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote the institution’s courses and programs.
• Support digital marketing campaigns by engaging with potential students through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
• Follow-up and Conversion:
• Conduct follow-ups with prospective leads and ensure timely conversion of inquiries into admissions.
• Provide post-admission support and help students with pre-arrival and settling-in guidance if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
