Structural Engineer

As a Structural Design Engineer at TRC International, located in Bengaluru & Mysore, India, you will be required to have 3-8 years (or plus) of experience in Structural Design with a University Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Your role will involve utilizing your knowledge in advanced structural engineering design experience with multi-level structures. Additionally, you should have experience from concept development and design through to project documentation. Familiarity with building codes including US Codes, IBC ASCE, ACI, and Malaysia Code of Practices is essential, along with experience using precast systems for high-rise developments. Proficiency in structural design and drafting software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, Revit, MS Office, and AutoCAD is a must. Key Responsibilities: - Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering principles, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications. - Focus on the design of all types of building structures and develop building structural systems, both gravity and lateral. - Manage major and minor design projects from beginning to end, including the preparation and checking of design drawings and/or specifications. - Develop project design criteria, design calculations, and construction details while planning and conducting work requiring engineering judgment. - Independently develop and review engineering drawings and guide the drafting team in producing high-quality error-free drawings. - Proactively assist the team in documenting and standardization of the quality procedures and maintain the knowledge base of the team activities. - Enhance engineering & organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. - Exhibit initiative while working on projects and be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing the team.
