Requirement for Structural Dept

Job Title: Site Engineer PEB (Pre-Engineered Building)

Department: StructuralProjects / Site Execution

Reporting to: Project Manager / Site Incharge

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Oversee and manage PEB erection and structural steel works at site.

Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, standards, and project schedule.

Supervise contractor/site teams for fabrication, erection, sheeting, and finishing.

2. Quality Control & Safety

Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.

Monitor welding, bolting, alignment, and finishing of steel structures.

Implement safety practices and ensure zero-accident culture at site.

3. Coordination

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.

Work closely with project manager for planning and scheduling.

Ensure availability of manpower, machinery, and materials as per site needs.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily progress reports (DPR) and update project status.

Verify material receipts and consumption at site.

Prepare checklists, inspection reports, and quality documentation.

5. Problem Solving

Resolve site-level technical issues in coordination with design/engineering team.

Proactively identify risks, delays, and resource shortages and escalate appropriately.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of PEB erection, structural steel works, and sheeting.

Ability to read and interpret structural & fabrication drawings.

Familiar with surveying, leveling, and alignment tools.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Knowledge of safety practices and site management.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Engineering.

25 years of experience in PEB projects (site execution & erection).

Hands-on experience in handling contractor workforce and site resources.
