Role Overview

Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  structural analysis and design

  of steel and reinforced concrete structures
• Prepare

  calculation packages

  in accordance with applicable codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IS codes as applicable)
• Coordinate with drafting team to ensure

  design intent is correctly translated into drawings

• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and design revisions
• Assist in

  optimization of structural systems

  for constructability and cost efficiency
• Coordinate internally with project managers and senior engineers
• Support US-based projects under the direction of licensed Professional Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree B.E. or B.Tech. in Civil Engineering
• Masters Degree M.E. or M.Tech. in Structural Engineering
• 4 to 8 years of relevant structural design experience
• Strong understanding of

  structural analysis and load paths

• Experience in

  Steel and RCC design

• Working knowledge of structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar)
• Ability to independently prepare and check design calculations
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to

  US codes

  (ACI 318, AISC 360, ASCE 7)
• Experience with

  post-tensioned slabs, podiums, or steel structures, or wood structures

• Familiarity with

  Revit

• Experience of working with international clients or consultants
