Structural Engineer

Role Overview: As a Structural Engineer in Rebar Detailing, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the rebar detailing team to ensure the accurate, efficient, and timely production of rebar shop drawings and schedules. Your role will require a deep understanding of rebar detailing practices, industry standards, and project requirements. You will be tasked with checking drawings, optimizing workflows, managing the team, and delivering high-quality drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Possess a strong understanding of rebar detailing standards and procedures to meet quality requirements. - Review and approve shop drawings and schedules for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications. - Assign tasks, set performance expectations, and supervise the rebar detailing team. - Stay updated on the latest industry standards and technologies related to rebar detailing. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of shop drawings and schedules. - Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and address their concerns. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a structural engineer specialized in drawing checking in GCC-based projects. - Strong understanding of rebar detailing codes and standards (BS & Euro). - Proficiency in any rebar detailing software (e.g., AutoCAD, ZWCAD, etc.). - Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills.,
