Stores Assistant

As a Stores Assistant at Opal Garments, a Manufacturer & Exporter of Garments based in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, your role will involve supporting the daily operations of the inventory and storage department. You will play a crucial part in stock handling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a smooth material flow within the factory. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing raw materials, trims, and finished goods - Maintain precise stock records and update inventory systems regularly - Organize and arrange materials systematically in the store for easy access - Support stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels - Coordinate effectively with production and procurement teams for stock requirements - Uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the storage area to facilitate efficient operations Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous - Basic knowledge of inventory management systems - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Good communication skills to liaise with different departments effectively Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers.
