The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role ensures proper documentation, safe storage, and timely issuance of items to maintain smooth operations.
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
Verify the quality and quantity of received goods against purchase orders and invoices.
Organize and maintain the store area for easy identification and retrieval of materials.
Issue materials to departments or sites as per approved requests.
Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels regularly.
Conduct periodic stock audits and report discrepancies.
Coordinate with the purchase department for reordering low-stock items.
Ensure safety and cleanliness in the storage area.
Keep records of tools, equipment, and returnable materials.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum qualification: Diploma /Graduate.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial setup.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Office.
