Storekeeper

Job Summary:
The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment. The role involves handling purchase-related documentation, maintaining inward and outward records, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record all purchase inwards (materials, tools, equipment).
• Maintain documentation for purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and invoices.
• Record and track outward movement of materials, tools, and equipment issued to sites.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of construction materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inward, outward, and stock balance.
• Prevent losses by implementing proper storage, safety, and security measures.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.
• Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for material requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate or Diploma (preferred in Stores/Inventory/Logistics).
• 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in a construction company.
• Knowledge of purchase process, inward/outward documentation, and construction materials.
• Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to handle physical stock and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
