Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for proposing improvements to the current purchasing system in order to enhance vendor relationships and reduce business costs. You will collaborate closely with inventory control and sales teams to establish metrics for evaluating inventory level requirements and maintaining optimal levels throughout the year. Additionally, you will play a key role in devising profitable strategies to handle obsolete and slow-moving stock to mitigate losses. Your duties will also include overseeing the day-to-day purchasing operations of the company, ensuring that all purchasing agents meet their performance targets. You will be expected to contribute to the development of more efficient invoicing and collection processes. A successful candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, along with at least 4 years of experience in purchasing management. Preferred qualifications for this position include certification from APICS or a relevant organization, as well as proficiency in SAP software. A strong understanding of supply chain management principles and a track record of implementing effective inventory management policies are essential for this role. This is a full-time position that requires on-site work.,
