Store & Purchase Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a proactive and fashion-savvy Store & Purchase Manager who can seamlessly manage daily store operations while also handling seasonal garment purchases, vendor coordination, and market sourcing. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about fashion retail, inventory management, and vendor relations. Key Responsibilities: Store Management Oversee daily retail operations, staff management, and customer experience Manage in-store product display, styling, and stock rotation based on season Handle POS systems, billing, stock entries, and customer follow-ups Track inventory movement and create daily/weekly sales reports Maintain cleanliness, brand aesthetics, and store ambience Resolve customer queries and build strong relationships Purchase & Sourcing Execute purchase plans as per seasonal kurti collection calendar Travel to supplier hubs (Surat, Jaipur, Delhi, etc.) for fabric and product sourcing Negotiate MOQs, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines with vendors Coordinate sample approvals and bulk production Ensure timely delivery and product quality for all launches Maintain records of vendor payments, order status, and fabric costs Requirements: 3+ years of combined experience in garment retail and sourcing/purchasing Strong understanding of Indian fabrics, festive styles, fashion cycles Familiar with retail POS software and basic Excel/inventory tools Willing to travel frequently for sourcing and vendor meetings Excellent communication in Hindi, Gujarati, and basic English Well-organized with the ability to multitask between store and sourcing
