Store Keeper

Key Responsibilities:1. Material Management

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials, equipment, and tools.
• Verify materials received against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Tag and store materials systematically to ensure easy identification and retrieval.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive materials like pumps, pipes, valves, electrical panels, etc.

2. Issue & Return Control

• Issue materials to site personnel as per authorized material requisition slips.
• Maintain records of issued and returned materials with proper documentation.
• Track tool usage and ensure timely return of issued tools and equipment.

3. Stock Monitoring & Reporting

• Maintain daily stock registers (manual or digital) for all materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system data.
• Report material shortages, surplus, or damages to the Project Manager and Accounts team.
• Prepare monthly stock statements and consumption summaries.

4. Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, and Project departments for material requirements and updates.
• Ensure all goods are supported with appropriate documents (PO, DC, Invoice, etc.).
• Assist in preparing GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRR (Material Receipt Report), and MIS reports.

5. Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain proper housekeeping and labeling in the store area.
• Ensure safe storage practices to prevent damage, theft, or wastage.
• Follow safety norms during loading, unloading, and storage operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Graduate / Diploma / ITI in any discipline (preferably in Material Management or Engineering).
• Experience: 3–6 years in storekeeping or inventory management, preferably in construction, wastewater, or industrial project sites.

Skills Required:

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and coordination ability.
• Integrity and accountability in handling materials.
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, Word, Email).
• Knowledge of project-based material handling (civil, mechanical, and electrical).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
