Store Incharge

Patel Public School is seeking a dedicated and organized Store Incharge to oversee and manage the daily operations of the school store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inventory control, record-keeping, procurement coordination, and ensuring timely availability of supplies and materials needed for academic and administrative purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory of school supplies, uniforms, stationery, books, cleaning materials, and other assets
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials and supplies
• Issue supplies to staff, teachers, and departments as per requisition
• Maintain stock registers, records of receipts and issues, and generate reports
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and restocking
• Ensure proper storage conditions, cleanliness, and safety of store premises
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and audits
• Monitor usage and prevent misuse, pilferage, or wastage of stock
• Maintain asset records and help with annual asset verification
• Assist in budget planning related to store and supplies

Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in storekeeping or inventory management
• Proficient in MS Excel and store management software
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
• Familiarity with school or institutional procurement processes is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bellandur, Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• working in school: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English, Kannada and Hindi (Preferred)
