Job Description – Store Incharge

Position: Store Incharge
Location: Ambajogai Beed
Department: Stores / Inventory
Reporting To: Project Manager / Operations Head

salary : depends on interview

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall responsibility of store operations and inventory management.
• Receive, check and verify incoming materials with delivery challan / purchase order.
• Ensure proper storage, tagging and stacking of all materials as per standard procedure.
• Issue material to site teams against approved requisitions and maintain records.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortage or overstocking.
• Prepare daily / weekly / monthly stock reports and submit to management.
• Keep proper documentation of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), Issue Slips, and Return Notes.
• Coordinate with purchase / accounts department for timely material requirement.
• Ensure safe handling of tools, machinery, and consumables.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards inside the store.
• Prevent material theft, misuse or damage through proper control and supervision.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of store & inventory management system.
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP / Tally preferred).
• Good communication & coordination ability.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Qualification: Diploma electrical engineer / ITI.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in store / warehouse management (construction / electrical / manufacturing preferred).

Additional Requirements:

• Must be disciplined, punctual, and responsible.
• Should be willing to work at project sites if required.
