Job Description

Job Title: Store Executive
Location: Atlas Transformers India Limited (Por , GIDC )
Reports To: Store Manager / Supply Chain Head

Job Summary:

The Store Executive is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining records, and ensuring efficient storage systems within a transformer manufacturing unit. The role involves close coordination with procurement, production, and quality departments to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods related to transformer manufacturing (e.g., copper winding wire, core laminations, bushings, insulating materials).
  • Regularly update stock levels in the ERP system.
  • Monitor stock for expiry, obsolescence, or damage.
  • Material Handling:
  • Supervise unloading, storage, and issuance of materials as per production requirements.
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage according to safety and material handling standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), stock reports, and material issue slips.
  • Maintain records of inward and outward movement of goods.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system records periodically.
  • Coordination:
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for timely receipt of materials.
  • Work with production and quality teams to ensure availability of approved materials.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Adhere to ISO, 5S, and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store area.
  • Implement and follow company procedures for material handling and storage.
  • ERP / Software Proficiency:
  • Operate and maintain records using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in a similar role in the electrical or transformer manufacturing industry.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of transformer components and materials.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
